    Lay it on it's side and while peering at cpu fan, drop 1/2 gallon of brown muscat into the innards. It worked for me. A waste of good plonk though.

    I don't know whether this qualifies....

    My late brother and his girlfriend were having a 'nookie' on my lounge while I was out, and
    they managed to knock a Bourbon & Coke over into my Acer TM370 netbook (it was on the
    coffee-table).

    Needless to say, it was never the same again (still worked, but the keyboard was 'cactus').
