I'm in such a rush but just managed to squeeze out a working build (clear and copy buttons don't work yet). Make the folder C:\NMEDA, then run the app (might have to as an admin, but I doubt it). It'll take a while to run depending on your internet speed, but it will generate a list of the top 50 contestants in the NMEDA competition :) Haven't coded the sorting algorithm yet, so just run it through here:

    Sort Text Lines

Click Natural, then Reverse to get your list :)

    Enjoy!

    Did you make that folder?

I would suggest that we not all run the app. It is not the kindest thing to do to a website.

I've been pulling the data every couple of days for a while now, but I'm not sure what the numbers mean.

    7. WINNER SELECTION PROCESS AND ODDS: The Winner will be selected in the sole discretion of the National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association (NMEDA). For phase one of the Program, the Local Hero has to qualify in the top ten percent of entries that received the most votes at the conclusion of the Voting Period. During phase two of the selection process, the top 10% vote earners will be reviewed by an independent panel of judges that are in the mobility specialty field.
    If the rules just said:
...the Local Hero has to qualify in the top ten percent of entries...
Then there are currently about 1390 entrants.
So, the top 139 would go on to phase two.
(139 entries is a lot of info to be reviewed by the panel.)

    But, the rules also say:
    ...the top 10% vote earners...
(which might just be a brief way of restating the first mention of 10%)

There are other ways of figuring the 10% that makes only 4 or 5 entrants move on to phase two.

edit: I forgot to add that some entrants might be removed from consideration due to automated voting... or a block of votes that were deemed to have been automated might just be removed from an entrant's total. I'm not sure how those running this contest could be absolutely positive of automation. Also, I wonder if some people would automate votes for those in the top slots in the hopes of getting them knocked out of the contest.
