    Parting out a laptop

I'm parting out a dead laptop that was given to me. The only thing wrong with it was an issue with the motherboard where the display wouldn't go to the screen... wasn't sure if it was a bad GPU or not. I want to sell the CPU, though (AMD Athlon II P320 2.1 GHz Dual-Core (AMP320SGR22GM)), and am wondering if there is a way I can test the CPU to see if it is working.

Prime95 or IntelBurnInTest, both have tutorials available on the forum.

So, if I can't boot up the computer, I'm out of luck, huh?

Correct - if the motherboard is toast, then you have no way of testing the CPU.

Well, what should I do with it? Sell it?
