    I never did the 'console thing'. I had a C64 then an Amiga, both of which were top
    gaming machines in their day as well as being, basically, PCs as well.
    When I 'upgraded' from them to the IBM/Windows world about 18 years ago, I used
    the PC (a 386 at first) for gaming from then on, and in fact still do.
    I do own a PS1 that I inherited from my late brother, though, and a (dead) PS2 that
    was given to me complete with a dozen games on the basis of 'you fix it, it's yours'.

    I still have 2 PS2s 1 XBOX famicon gamecube NES SNES genesis atari 2600 (can't name the rest) and a crap load of old games.

    Never had any pure gaming console really, just computers. I still have my working C128 somewhere, which I used at its time for gaming only

    Some of those early Magnavox consoles look pretty cool. They look like guitar pedals.
