One of my favourite Carnatic classical numbers "Brochevarevarura" (Telugu) in raga Khamas comes from Chicago!
Incidentally, Yesudas has his second home in Texas. He also owns estates in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA and Flower Mound, Texas, USA for personal and business reasons. Lucky Guy! Music has made him a millionaire.
Kattassery Joseph Yesudas ( Jesus is Yesu in southindian languages), a Roman Catholic, expounds that all religions are one and God is one and every year without fail, on his birthday 10 Jan worships and sings at Kollur Mookambike Temple in Karnataka. ( Though I am at just 270 miles away for the last forty six years and wanting to visit Kollur, I haven't done it
