Today I cleaned out my installed programs

This was an interesting exercise, I was surprised at the number of applications that I had on the hard drive that I don't, and have no intention, of using again.

Part of this is down to the "nature of the beast", I have installed items to trial, or to investigate issues for others, the rest are due to changes in workflow.

One example is due to the change to Lightroom 4 late last year, over the years I had developed a workflow based on previous versions and had amassed a collection of programs to perform tasks that were not possible easily in lightroom, Geotagging, camera import, (with renaming), that are now incorporated into the software.

In all I freed up in excess of 11GB of space on my system drive.

maybe it's something we should all think about

Was offered an interview with BAE Systems (British Aerospace) today as a Software Development Engineer. Exciting, yet nervous to say the least.

    Thanks :)

Not for another 2 or 3 weeks yet, so it gives me time to sharpen up for it.
