Well done, Julian! Your hard work and dedication is paying off :)

Just to let you all know, I'm off on holiday from 23/6-29/7 so I won't be able to take any thread requests during that time :)

Good going Jules! You have inspired me to kick the habit ( after 50 years of smoking ) .. I'm doing it cold turkey .. no pills, no spray. I've gone a week so far, and each day it gets easier! Good luck to you!!

i no longer use the nicotine patches and i still use the nicotine spray daily ,though much less now.
the next goal is to wean myself slowly off the spray until i no longer need it.
That is great news Julian, good for you!

    Guess it's my turn now.
Down to 10-15 smokes a day and just got the gum to give it a go.
Hard to do when I have to wheel Donna out in the garage for her 3-4 puffs a day.

Need to quit making excuses and just do it!

Good luck! It can't be easy after 50 years. It's almost 6 years now for me since I quit all my bad habits.

It might not be easy, but it will be worth it in the end. Good luck!

Congratulations Julian you're over the worst now so it should be plain sailing from now on, we're all very proud of you.

Good going Tom, it does get easier so take each day as it comes, if I can do I know you can. I've been stopped 7½ years now and I'd been smoking for about 50 years as well. We're all here to give you encouragement when you need it.

Dennis we have faith in you and know you will get there so good luck.
