This expires May 20 2013.
well done finland, i watched the match 20 mins from the end of the third , then the overtime. overtime was quite good as i knew thanks to kari it was sudden death.
i have to say it was slow going before that but the sense of urgency in the overtime made it exciting to watch.
i think you will be havingmoredrinks to celebrate kari.
Thanks Julian. But honestly, Finland played really bad. Finland is world ranking #2, Latvia #11 but Latvia dominated, the sudden death goal in overtime for Finland was pure luck.
Anyway, Finland 3, Latvia 2. Next Slovakia in quarterfinals on Thursday.
good luck for thursday, i may leave it til five mins from the end next time as i cant stand the excitement

EDIT 19:45 CEST (7:45 PM): Switzerland won against Czech Republic 2 - 1, and now Finland won against Slovakia 4 to 3. Last quarterfinal in half an hour, Sweden against Canada. Winner of that game meets Finland in Saturday's semifinal, other semifinal being Switzerland against USA.
(On Team Finland goalkeeper's shirt you can see the name of my native country Finland in Finnish: Suomi.)
EDIT 22:55 CEST (10:55 PM): What a thriller! Sweden 2 - Canada 2 after full time. Overtime, no goals. Sweden finally won with penalty shots and meets Finland on Saturday, winner to final, loser to bronze game.
