    Wow, that is a lot! I eat a lot and I can happily live on £20 a week at uni, when I say a lot, I mean a lot ~4000 calories a day.

    Part way there. I think the pic promoting a drinking age of 18 is good evidence against it. I think you chaps are a bit more responsible than our kids are. I promote a drinking age of 35. Going to war has nothing to do with it, all out military is volunteer and then they can get alcohol in other countries, lol.

    where do you shop?
    recently our Tesco's closed for a week for a refit.
    i went to aldi for that week and saved about £30 , so now i do my shop there, the taxi home is a little more expensive by about £3 but the savings are worth it,
    i get a couple of ok bottles of wine for lois for around £8 which is about £3/£4 cheaper than tesco so immediately ive made the extra taxi fare
    back.
    for the stuff i cant get at aldi i still use tesco but its still a huge saving per week
