Try pressing Ctrl + Alt + UP Arrow Key, or try Ctrl + Alt + and a different Arrow Key.

If that does not work: Right-click on empty Desktop > Graphics Options > Rotation.

Maybe right click desktop > graphics options > rotate? Not sure about Win 8.
Thank you very much Lee, that was it I had to go into the options then click on Advanced settings then click on rotate normal.
It wasn't easy while it was on the side as the mouse pointer kept going the opposite way I wanted it to but I got there and the screen is back the way it should.

Again thank you, at least I'll know next time if it happens again, she has a habit of running across the keyboard if the laptop is on the little table at my side rather than on my knee.

Lee beat you to it maxie but thank you for the shortcuts, all I have to do is remember them.

lol, it was probably me that said it was good That's where I'm studying!
Lol nice, how is the course? Do you enjoy it, is it hard?

Though tough at times, I really enjoy it and have learnt a lot from it :)

It may seem daunting at first but they work you into it slowly so it's not too bad.

Also, in the GeekU info page you might have seen this:

Most people graduate in 4 to 6 months.
I've been going quite quickly and am 2 years into my training. One of the admins said that was very out of date and is no longer true, but they haven't updated it yet.
Welp, two years?! Ah well, it's something fun to do, so I wouldn't bother.
Nice to hear that you enjoy it:)

Oh, on a completely unrelated side-note, your inbox is full, no one can PM you!

Yeah, well almost. My first post was made on 11/8/2013 - that's August 2013 for those using the wrong way of writing the date

Thanks for letting me know, it fills up pretty quickly! I've deleted 120 PMs so that should keep me going for a while!
