Today I am exhausted. Finished the Kentucky State Fair Sunday night, tore down, drove to northern Indiana and we set up in a few hours. Looks like rain today too.

Am working for a new Boss now ....... seems like the answer to my entreaties to the gods too. He/They let me work like I want (i.e. easy, no hard sell or "misinformation"). I can take my time and make sure the kids have a fun/good time while winning a worthwhile prize. Our outlook on the business seems to be in tune all the way down the line. For anyone who has read some of my other posts on this subject y'all know how I've been conflicted by some of my other bosses lately. Anyway ........ I had more fun playing K.S.F. than I've had in a while now and thats what drew me into the business in the first place. Make a decent living while having fun..... not a bad life even with the pitfalls that you face.

Made a TON of money too ................ today after setup is "payday" so we'll see if this new boss/bosses are too good to be true or not. Again... anyone reading my previous posts will know the problems I've had this year on that subject!

Today its a natural calamity. Never seen such a rainfall earlier in my life. All the roadways are under water as well as the rail lines. Just like a flood.

I went out to work at 7:30 AM at morning, and got home back at 9:10 PM of night. It rained almost all the tie in between.

Knee level water just in front of my door. Stairs are under water.

Actually it is still raining, though not that much, but it is raining nonstop.

At the safe shelter now ... at home Tomorrow it will be a national holiday , so no tension for tomorrow too
