Today, I came home from the VA (over night procedure) to find that my house was broken into and they took everything, including my computer. Fortunately I had an old XP POS, that I can use for now, but with my limited income, I doubt that I will be able to replace it any time soon. It was a desktop, and I'm sure it's long gone by now...

Sorry to hear that, Tom! I can't imagine what it would feel like to lose my computer.

Fortunately, I haven't had to use it properly yet, but it's one more safeguard I have should things turn nasty.

Great link tom982. Never knew about a free offering for that before. I knew there was free offerings on android, like avast for instance. But I was not aware for the laptop or desktop something free like that. The only one I ever heard about was lojack.
