What? There are skins?! How come nobody told me this?
Go to the bottom of the page, and there should be a drop down menu, where you can select the different skin themes.

    sf black,
i dont like white pages when browsing for lengthy periods. the black is easy on the eye.
i would use the dark skin but i prefer the green online indicator over the words online/offline, i have to peer at the txt,
whereas i can see at a glance if someone is online on the black skin.
maybe if the txt was green on online and red on offline i would use the dark skin (hint hint john)

I liked the dark at first but found I was getting tired trying to read the text on the menu screens; too little contrast between text and background. The threads themselves have a different, brighter text color and were much easier to read. Black would have been even better only the contrast between text and background was even worse. I've gone back to the default skin.

Bad idea. That would be a nightmare for colorblind people. Red, green, and blue (in that order) cause the most grief for colorblind people.

Knowing whether one is online or offline isn't the issue. Being able to clearly see the characters is.
