Who Has The Oldest Computer In Daily Use?

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it"

There has to be people here that keep their computers until the bitter end. Doing whatever it takes to keep it running far beyond it's designed life span. I'm talking day-to-day surfing, email computer #1.
The computer that gets used the most.

My Enpower 660 aka MSI-PR600 laptop was bought new in 2/2006. It has proven to be very robust and trouble free. It gets regular maintenance to guard against dust and overheating. Still runs like a champ. I'm keeping it until it dies.

My specs are below in the proper place.

I have 2 IBM Intellistation Z Pro servers I use that were first put into service in May of 2003. They pretty much have run 24 hrs a day with very little downtime.

I have several older computers, including my Commodore C64 and my Amiga A500.

But, although they do get run occasionally, none are in regular, day-to-day use.

My main machine is a 1 year old i7 laptop running Windows 8 Pro 64-bit.

My four year old laptop (Core 2 Duo 2G) runs Windows 7 Ult. SP1 32-bit.

The oldest I have in regular use is my P4/2.8 desktop from around 2005 (running Vista Ult. 32-bit).

    Wenda.

I still have my old non-working PC around, forgot the brand name, but it has a Pentium 4, 384 MB of RAM (256 and 128), Tornado GeForce2 MX, an unknown capacity hard drive, and Windows XP, it's not working , no POST, my monitor, keyboard, mouse doesn't work with the old one, I'm thinking of restoring it.

My main computer is a Early 2006 iMac that over time I have vastly upgraded by installing 2gb of RAM, a new hard drive, and Windows 8.
