@jumanji
thanks for those images. The world is a wondrous place. I've only been to some of those places - I see 2 around the world tickets coming up in the future.
Utah is one of the prettiest states with beautiful parks and Salt Lake City is probably the cleanest big city in the nation - it's only difficult to get a coffee. But Utah is certainly worth a trip.Utah is the only State I haven't been to, seen the other 49
I have been to most places in Europe and the US and Sout America, Asia and Africa are not on my radar screen - except Alexandria in Egypt. That was a fascinating town before the Romans and in the 20s and 30s.
Barcelona is another place I have not yet seen and that looks like a worthwhile destination.
One place I suggest is the cave of Lascaux with the 30.000 year old paintings. In the linked page click on ' Visite de la Grotte'.

And I thought I've traveled. It sounds like you have had great travel experiences Wolfgang. You know I've come across people who don't have this desire - it takes all sorts.
You top me. I estimate ~20 moves since leaving my family home pretty much work related as well in and out of country. This doesn't include my defence travel when I had my bum on an aircraft every second week. I think I'm recovered enough now to take my lovely wife on an around the world trip.
