Yachting; America's Cup, The Final Leg...

I'm watching the last leg of the race on NBCSp's HD FiOS channel 590.

I tried links to help, but their either locked out or you have to join, so, I'd suggest trying to pick it up on your local cable/satellite channel:

This youtube locked me out, I imagine because its in San Fransisco, and I'm in the States:

    NBC wants you to join:
    NBC Sports

Maybe this will help someone: Home / America’s Cup I'm still locked out What the hell good is the internet if they want me to travel 2,800miles to go see a damn race?!?!? (end of rant)

At least I can still see it through FiOS.

Amazing comeback from Oracle, they were down 8 races to the kiwis and came back to win.

Sudden death everyday for the last week.

Larry Ellison upset some folks at his OpenWorld Conference for skipping the keynote speech to watch the race.

As a racing sailor of many single handed, trapeze two man monohulls and catamarans it was with special awe I watched these crafts fly on the water with solid adjustable wings larger than any aircrafts. Great job to both teams but what Oracle pulled off was amazing in any sport but up against a team of such caliber as NZ it was a special victory !

There has been some threads here about broadcasting rights and blackouts across geographical boarders, so it doesn't really surprise me. Why Would you Blackout the America's Cup Live Streaming in the US - Cruisers & Sailing Forums

We're in Steelers country, but we have to watch the Ravens (we're Packer's fans). Sometimes the Phillies are blacked-out on the major cable channels, but we get to watch on a local digital (over air) channel. Its all about the money.

Fios has been having a terrible time with keeping their channel guide up to date, not once during these last eight races was it properly posted that the Cup would be telecast, it was like sudden death for me to catch 'em.

Earlier in the day I watched a report on Bloomberg financial news how Oracle made a mess of the Java situation and Jerry's Larry? Jerry? at the races, then I caught the race announcer's mentioning about Larry missing the conference, maybe he just needed a break.

I noticed that even the film crew where all foreign and this is in Hollywood's northern backyard.......so yes I agree that just like a car made in the states of 99% foreign made content should it still be called a car made in the USA?

I'm not sure how I got Jerry out of Larry, but I made an edit in my previous post.

Toyota automobiles sold in America are made in, I believe Kentucky among other States. But where's the money going?

My '03 Silverado was made in Canada.

And its a good thing he did. I believe he came aboard when Jerry?, Larry? had that big meeting after the opening race when Team America lost.

I stand corrected, It was midway through the competition: Sir Ben Ainslie's Oracle Team USA win America's Cup 2013 following greatest comeback - Telegraph

What was really amazing was out of 19 races, Oracle had to win 11 races as they were penalized 2 points from modifications during the trials. That is why the score was 9-8. Also there was only one American on board.
