    Managing attachments

I don't know whether it is the server or something on my machine but I am having great difficulty in attaching snips etc to posts anyone else having problems??

Have run SFC and scanned with everything I have and used the CCleaner but to no avail!!

Hmm looks like something I should have got for my management / clinical position at the old local hospital but heck I don't know I'll try one back and see again.

Nope doesn't want to go must be something my end mate thanks for the reply though.

I might run a rootkit cos MBAM found 64 malwares a while ago which is making me wonder if my security is on the ball.

Nope looks awfully like a reinstall job I don't know if it is the new SSD or not but at least I cloned the 840 to this EVO thing.

I would focus on more security scans. That is a lot of malware. Their may be more.

I'm not sure how the security on this Forum is used or set up but the security on this Forum might not allow a infected snip that it detects.

Well everyone I have narrowed it down to it probably being the EVO I have replaced the 840 with I think it might be a return job. Have the 840 back in now so will soon see what happens eh?

How does that affect the ability to manage attachments?

Scan for malware John - your system sounds like it needs it from your previous description.

Yes mate I did with just about everything except the TDSS I think the problem is with the drive itself as when I first cloned the 840 to the EVO it stopped at 75% saying there was a broken pipe whatever that means.

I have the 840 back in now and the problem has gone away so I am going to wipe that drive and do another clone and if the problem persists then I might have just got a lemon. I must say when I got the EVO I thought it would be a tad quicker than the 840 but if anything it was a little slower. So both those facts a makes me suspicious of the drive.

Well happy to say it is going like a rocket now and have just swapped in a new card so I am going to get what i can off this EVO and see what happens with a new install on it. Just to make sure it wsasn't a glitch before RAMing the thing.
