    Yep, good for him. You never know, you might buy a lottery ticket on a whim. Chances are ridiculously slim, but someone wins big every time.

    many years ago ,i hid in the local post office when i spotted someone walking down the road that i owed money to.
    when in the post office i realised there was something going on there was huge queues and lots of chatter ad banter,turned out it was the very first day lottery scratch cards went on sale, there was only one type then , so i joined the queue, paid £1 for one and won £70 , i cashed it in went to the pub where i knew the guy a owed money to was headed and paid him off .
    and got blotto
    £70 was a fair bit back then, almost half a weeks takehome pay.

    sometimes you have to be in the right place, right time .
