Today I tried Earl Grey tea for the first time that I know of.

It's very good, miles ahead of the big name, leading brand in the US.

Each teabag is sealed in a foil pouch, something I had not seen before.
I didn't know Americans drank tea.

Oh we do, we do, but in ways calculated to infuriate our English friends.
Especially those of us in the American South who drink iced tea.

    Ah, old school, eh?

I'll have hot tea occasionally. No milk, just a little sugar.

How do you make your iced tea? I'll probably get a lot of flak, but this is how I make it:

Heat 6 cups of water in a microwave safe coffeemaker for 8 minutes. Bubbles are just starting to form, I don't let it come to a full boil.

Remove from microwave, add one-half cup of sugar to hot water and stir thoroughly.

Drop in 2 regular sized tea bags and let it sit until the water reaches room temperature.

Pour into 2 quart pitcher and add cold water to make 2 quarts.

    Enjoy!

Yea I just call it dirty water/ unsweetened
Add sugar and lemon manually to taste

Restaurant versions of sweetened iced tea is really nasty.
