Today was better than normal for a lawn mowing day.
It was about half as painful as normal when I mow the lawn.
I had to beat the rain. Dummy me put fertilizer and lime down about a week ago and that damn grass jumped up 6 in. happy and dark green.

Still got my spring cleaning of the lawn and flower bed cleaning to start.
    It just started raining again.

Jack, fertilizer always makes grass very fast. My bro was cutting his twice a day 4-5 years ago.

I know fertilizer makes plants grow faster and better.
I was using some left over fertilizer from a few bags and one was very high in nitrogen and wam oh. Their is a good chance the lime did it's thing because the ph was very low.
It was kind of a bunch of left overs of fertilizer I mixed up so it wouldn't go to waste and the combination sure worked.
I usually use a lower nitrogen fertilizer with more iron added.
It turns the grass greener but doesn't make it grow so damn quick.

    Iron makes grass greener
Nitrogen makes grass greener and grow quickly.

I use a lot of Jerry Bakers methods.
