As if I hadn't enough obstacles in this thing they call a Real Life. This in mailbox today:

"Extremely high contamination (over 10,000 CFU/100 milliliter)", they have found legionella bacteria in water coming in to this apartment block. "Duschverbot" = shower ban, I am now supposed to be without shower and bath at least this week.
From Wikipedia:

We have over 10,000 in one tenth of a liter (100 milliliter = 0,1 liter)

Funny thing is that drinking the same water is not so dangerous; the bacteria spreads via the sprays and fumes caused by water when inhaled. Second page of that warning letter tells me I can drink but as long as this lasts, I should open all water tabs in apartment letting hottest possible water run for 10 minutes, then the same with cold water and this every second day.

The thing is, I have had quite serious issues past weeks with my Ménière's disease. It has caused a severe ear infection which in its turn causes low resistance, I was seeing a doctor and had MRI on Friday and I was especially warned about it. I should keep myself warm and clean, take extra good care of the personal hygiene and so on because at the moment I can catch anything much easier than normally.
In addition I am again going to see the doc tomorrow and on Monday and I am old school: I need to know I am clean and have clean underpants when seeing a doctor .
Since October last year I have been a living example of Murphy's Law. This follows the suit. If shit must happen it will happen to me.

If the Doctor is checking your ears by removing you underpants you may try getting another specialist.

A good one Dennis. Got OSC (*).
