I got a call from an old friend back home in Finland just now, asking some advice. "Kari, I accidentally wiped the hard disk and installed Ubuntu. Now the Windows is gone. What can I do?"
Accidentally? Is that word used by PC users today as the social media users use the word "Literally", like in "I literally died of shame!"?

Kari, accidentally installing a Linux distro is something which is more possible than some PC accidents.
Most provide a live option on the media plus an install option, some cases the Install is the Big Shiny button rather than the Live and it could be possible to click incorrectly Once into the install routine it is easy to just keep clicking buttons rather than read all that text
