If I walk about five minutes to the west I'll be near Square de Meeûs, which is a huge park, and two minutes to the east there's a train station. They assured me that I chose a great location

Today is the first totally "work-free" day I've had since early May. Finished the season a few days ago and now Winter Quarters "make work" is finished too. Paid off and notified as to when we'll open next year/season (late January this coming year).

All of which means ......... hehe ...... I'll be spending much more time in here starting in a few days. ( Hey, I've got personal things to do too you know) I miss the time spent here during the winter, this site and the people in it are my ......... "therapy" ...... for a seasons worth of angst, disappointments, and the knowledge that the vast majority of people I interact with hold a very derogatory view of me and my business. That really wears on you after a while.

So thank you all for accepting me and for the support and peace of mind that I get from belonging to such an outstanding site.

Oh, almost forgot, I'll be staying in Florida this winter, Tampa/Gibsonton - the Carnies spiritual and physical "home".

Well, that's one way to put it ! Been in the business I love 33 years now but a couple more and I'm done. Looking, halfheartedly so far, for a piece of property to retire to/on here in Gibtown actually.
