Actual story is that a went for a regular, Torture Session dental appointment, with my consultant, He took one look at me checked my BP, Pulse, and O2 Sats and decided I was in no fit state for a 3 hour session of root canal surgery, so we rescheduled

sounds like you need fear hypnotherapy.

Nar, it's the usual issue, I've got a cold, so the COPD kicks in and I end up with Oxygen Saturation of 85 to 91%, in stad of my normal 96-97%, Resting Pulse of 130+, but at least the BP is OK :)
