    The Rock Group, Cream

I just saw on TV this morning that the lead singer for Cream, Jack Bruce died. It continued to say that he wrote most of the songs which were covered by other stars including Jimi Hendrix, David Bowie and Ella Fitzgerald...................Ella Fitzgerald can that possibly be right?

He was 71 and it was liver disease that he died of. He did write and sing most of the songs they did, here's a link with more information about him.

Kind of odd. My brother and I were just talking a week ago about old rockers and he said Jack Bruce was already gone and I looked it up on the Net to find he was still alive. Now this. Most of them lived hard and its surprising any survive to a later age.

It was songs like Sunshine Of Your Love, I Feel Free, Strange Brew, White Room, Born Under A Bad Sign, Crossroads, Badge, Swlabr, Tales Of Brave Ulysses, and so on and so on, that I remember well.

Life is interesting isn't it, but I guess we all have to go at some point.

Wow, I would have never thought she covered a Cream song. I just knew what I read was wrong. Thanks for the research.
