How many times have you installed Windows 7?

    SF

I have been glancing back at the many times I have installed Windows 7. I have been with 7 since M1 and have installed each and every build at least once. The cool thing is I have actually ran a tally since the very beginning and here are my results

Milestone 1 -> BETA (The Beginning)
    10 times

BETA -> RC-Escrow (Things Start to Kick Off)
    26 times

RC -> RTM-Candidate (Beginning of the End)
    30 times

    RTM -> Beyond... (The End)
    13 times

As you can see...some might think I have an OCD for clean installs (they may have something there) but this is largely based on extensive personal testing I have done. As an official tester...well...you can see why

...anyhow...how many times have YOU installed 7? Post 'em here!

PS and if you happen to be only installing 7 for the first time...don't let the numbers intimidate you...

    Its quality over quantity

In all seriousness I could recite the whole install process word by word. Hell...I probably can recite most of the EULA if I tried...

    1 - Beta 1 - October
    2 - Beta Public - January
    2 - RC - May
    1 - RTM - August
    1 - Enterprise - September

It has been enjoyable testing Windows 7. I Have been lucky enough to test each NT build since 3.5 (have never used 95, 98, or ME). :)

I have 14 DVDs (some might be dupes). Beta thru 7260. Started using flash with 7264 and 7600.

I don't know. I do know that this licensed install, Signature Ultimate, is still a test install. I am playing with quite a few apps suggested here at SF. Still need to see if stduviewer is a valid replacement for Acrobat Reader. FoxIt was not, so I am skeptical. I need more than a PDF viewer. Free Adobe Reader allows the completion of PDF forms, which FoxIt did not support.

So, I only know that I have one more non-repair install pending.

    1 for the RC
    1 for the RTM

I use Acronis to make drive images and have only restored one time due to a bad flash drive that blemished my reliability score. Had I not lost a point I would still be on the same install
