    ***** Server upgrade *****

Our poor web server has really been feeling the strain over the last few days, serving up over 3/4 million page views a day between our sites. The current setup was never intended to take this much load and has been right at its limits during peak times.

To ensure we keep the site nice and fast (I hate any lag) we have a new very high powered webserver ready to be deployed.

I will be running some tests today and all going well I will be moving SF to the new server at 8am GMT tomorrow morning. I would estimate that will will have about 15 minutes downtime while I copy the files, but due to a change of IP it may be a little longer before you can access the site while the new DNS info propagates to you ISP/DNS provider.

I will update this post later today with the new IP, so when the time comes and you dont want to wait you will be able to edit it into your hosts file to point to the new site

    UPDATE
    IP will be - 74.86.229.157
