Good quote Ken,

The first three sentences are excellent and very thought provoking and the last bit :

" We can have one great experience at best, and the secret of life is to reproduce that experience as often as possible"

puts me in mind of a half remembered quote about addiction but I can't remember who said it.

Something about a junkie having one great high and spending the rest of his life trying, but failing, to reproduce it again.
