I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.

Can't remember where I read this or heard it, albeit always thought it was a great read. :)
This is one of the best statements of hope I have read in a long time! We all, children of all ages, have our dragons and it's nice to know that we can over-come.

    Some others I like....
A couple of my favorites, all from The Notebook fo Lazarus Long (Robert Heinlein):
Little girls, like butterflies, need no excuse.
You can have peace. Or you can have freedom. Don't ever count on having both at once.
The two highest achievements of the human mind are the twin concepts of "loyalty" and "duty". Whenever these twin concepts fall into disrepute -- get out of there fast! You may possibly save yourself, but it is too late to save that society. It is doomed.
The more you love, the more you can love -- and the more intensely you love. Nor is there any limit on how many you can love. If a person had time enough, he could love all of that majority who are decent and just.
Taxes are not levied for the benefit of the taxed.
There are many others I like even more but are of a socio-policital or religeous nature and are, thus, not appropriate fodder for this forum.

Another month ends. All targets met. All systems working. All customers satisfied. All staff eagerly enthusiastic. All pigs fed and ready to fly.

Software undergoes beta testing shortly before it's released. ("Beta" is Latin for 'still doesn't work.')

Frequent lock ups are a symptom of not enough memory but only in the way that nosebleeds are a symptom of gunshot wounds to the head.
