Before our white brothers arrived to make us civilized men,
we didn't have any kind of prison. Because of this, we had no delinquents.
Without a prison, there can be no delinquents.
We had no locks nor keys and therefore among us there were no thieves.
When someone was so poor that he couldn't afford a horse, a tent or a blanket,
he would, in that case, receive it all as a gift.
We were too uncivilized to give great importance to private property.
We didn't know any kind of money and consequently, the value of a human being
was not determined by his wealth.
We had no written laws laid down, no lawyers, no politicians,
therefore we were not able to cheat and swindle one another.
We were really in bad shape before the white men arrived and I don't know
how to explain how we were able to manage without these fundamental things
that (so they tell us) are so necessary for a civilized society.

Love this. It sets out a whole political philosophy in very few words. Thanks:)

Reality is purely a perception of the individual mind.

It follows, that since no two minds are alike, no two perceptions of reality are alike.

It further follows that what reality is to one, may seem complete madness to someone else.

Sometimes in life, seasons vanish, as if passed years ago. Memories blur, new ones arise, trying to keep ones mind on a goal, facing a wind, threw it one fights. Situations arise, life feels fleeting, realizing how short time really is. As if, if one could liken, our lives like a fast moving freight train, just passing by. Goals are carried, hope not just on a wing and a prayer, but, oft times, so fast they slip threw our hands. Oh! If one could hold on to the original goal, not wavering, or turning from its first purpose. But, alas, as quite oft, the goal vanishes, fades into air. Why? One must ask, is it thin skin, and not a hard enough head? Why? Did we lose sight, or just our drive, desire, ambition? In saying as such, as days go on, we learn our true motives, and our true heart. But, whether we show it, or just pass by, that is a question that each will live by. The answer? I wish i knew, i don't have an answer for that. But, i saying as such, there is a hope, stand by, watch, for one thing i have learned, Quite oft, events that seem misplaced, or, how does one say it, out of kilter?, are placed there for learning. That we step back, stop, and consider, are we on course? Or, have we drifted to far to turn back? Again, that question has no clear answer, till we see ourselves, if we be truly on course. And that goal in mind has not been altered by other events, or by lack of concern. Serious? You bet. No real time for games. As time vanishes to fast. Take stead in goals, and look ahead, time may be here today, but maybe not soon.
