Recommended books or websites on using Event Viewer.

My laptop have been occasionally hanging at the Windows logo for quite some time.. And since I currently have some time right now to attempt solving this problem, I figured that understanding the Event Viewer and knowing how to use it might help me track down the problem.

Any recommended books or websites on using Event Viewer ?

Why don't you go into full detail the issue and maybe we can help you resolve it?

Thanks Sir George , will take a look.

andrew129260, the problem is that occasionally, when my laptop boots, it simply hangs at the Windows logo. The logo glows from time to time and hangs there. When I reboot, sometimes it will end up in the same state again. If I get lucky, 1 reboot should work.

I did a little searching and it seemed to be a driver issue ? However, the ntbtlog.txt has no driver failures in the logs..
