You can see that-and all they require is a bit of loving' and a few hugs throughout the day. I'm most joyful in dishing out that and more. Well, half a dozen I love you's thrown in for good measure.Skittish but sweet.

Easy to understand how Fred could be the love of your life, jadinolf. I want to hug him to pieces just looking at his photo. It's so devastating when we lose a dog; they give us so much. PWPs (People Without Pets) have no idea how much of ourselves we pour into them.
And what kills me, there are many that say, "Well, if he dies you can just get another". Nope, no more than you can get another Mom or Dad, or child. They're all different.
Yeah, Fred is looking pretty, uh, laid back.
ColCot: Right. It's "just a dog." There will always be that one special dog, but as you live on and another dog comes to share your life with you, you end up loving that one just as much. It's different, but it's still love.
Dogs and Cats are just as much a part of the family as anyone. Even more so if you consider Mothers-In-Law.
A very special and pampered family member.
Her name is "Moonpie"
