pdf program
anyone know of a good pdf program where you can convert anything to a pdf?
If you mean convert any document to PDF try this online converter:
Online pdf converter
By "anything" - which types of files do you need to convert?
EDIT:
Also take a look at the formats supported by this:
PDF Converter: PDF to WORD, PDF to JPG, EPUB to PDF, etc. - Icecream Apps
Note: I have not used IceCream PDF Converter but have used screen recorder software from IceCream Apps.

Use a PDF "printer" software instead. After you install, those appear as a printer to every program, but the output is a normal PDF file instead of a paper. In this way you can convert printer output from any software to a file. The only requirement is that the program used must be able to print, this includes all document editors, browsers, image viewers and editors or many form of commercial software.
I like that for the flexibility this gives.
As a recommendation, I personally use PDF Creator
I second using PDF Creator. As Alejandro said, PDF Creator is what is know as a virtual printer. Once installed, to use it just select print in the program you are using and select PDF Creator for the printer. PDF Creator will then use the output that normally goes to a printer to generate a PDF. I use it all the time for simple PDFs that has standard, same size pages.
For mixed size pages, mixed media, etc., I use Adobe Acrobat Standard 11 (until next year when version 11 reaches end of life, then I'll need to find a new program since version 12 is cloud based).
Ok I will try PDF Creator,. We need to convert tax forms thru turbo tax into PDFs. The free one I had. Do it off keeps crashing
