    Hi all
What a VICTORY for decent food lovers everwhere -- Maybe the recession isn't all bad after all. -
Certainly does generate some strange "side effects".

I for one won't miss you Mcdonald's -- Bye Bye and please don't EVER come back again.

OK, it's the colapse of the Krona and the economy in Iceland, that's why.

    Hi there
Agreed - but if you see in the post I also said that not everything in the Recession is all bad-- every cloud has a silver lining. For whatever reason they've decided to pack up and I'm certainly not sorry to see the end of the golden archers in town. (They only had 3 outlets anyway -- that was 4 too many ).

    cheers

McD was my first job, the food wasn't bad back then, now depending on what store you goto will be how good it is. I have a 24hr bistro McD's 3 blocks up and the food most days is good, some days if its all kids working well even I won't eat it, and I have the worse eating habits. now start talking pizza and NY style pizza or Pizza Regina's In Boston is the best on the east coast.

Yeah but if you take out the letters RNA from the name Ronald, he can't fool me.

    I love this line...

And what makes you able speak for the way it is in in the US, "rednecks and poor people" just who do you think you are?
    I think you misunderstood.

I said McD caters mostly to that crowd in the US, and I've heard this from many MANY people (americans......). That its considered low class, and low grade, food in places all around the states.

You seem to have thought I implied most people in the US were rednecks and poor people. Well, no I didn't.
Also, I don't appreciate the tone you had there, but if it was merely a misunderstanding as I suspect, I'll let it slide.
