Forum idea...

Not sure if this is the correct place for this message, but I can't see anywhere else to post it. If it's not, then I am sure one of the admins will move it to the right place (thanks in advance).

I am preparing to install Windows 7 on a second PC - and have two more waiting for me to get round to them.

I'd kind of like to post system specs for all online, so when I ask for help, I can say "System #1" or such. The link in "My System Specs" only appears to support posting specs for one machine... or does it?

Nope. Room for just the one.

You could always add all your machines specs in a signature if it's imperative.

Win7 Enterprise, Win7 x86 (Ult 7600), Win7 x64 Ult 7600, TechNet RTM on AMD x64 (2.8Ghz)

Why not just type out the specs of the other 2 builds and save them as a .txt file so they can easily be copy/pasted into a post as needed ? ?

I have a DL 360 G5 with the P800 controller attached to a MSA60 storage array. The problem is with the MSA60 attached Windows 7 will take 20 minutes to boot. If I unhook the MSA60 boot is normal. There are no errors in the event log. Since the storage array was added after Windows 7 had been up...

I was brought a box last night, a friend of my dad's friend needed help with their old computer. I agreed. The computer is an old Dell Dimension 4700. Pentium 4 CPU, 508MB RAM running Windows XP, but I believe the issue is hardware related. I finished cleaning the viruses from the hard drive and...

Win 7 idea
Not sure how, or who I can purpose this idea too, but I find that I copy and paste a select amount of words all the time at work. I think it would be nice if I hovered over paste, after I right click, and it gave me a history of previous clipboard items to paste. Anyone else think this is a good...
