I'm sorry but your averaging assumption is incorrect. You just can't average speed (distance over time taken) like this.
You need to write out the equations you will then see your answer is only correct when t1=t2. If the distance down the hill was 1.5 miles you would have a correct answer.

I took exactly 30 minutes to do it. I answered all 30 questions and I got 19 out of 30.

Holy cow! I did it in 20 minutes and got 22 out of 30... That's a freak result.. I'm not that smart
