In my opinion, codec packs are not really that good. You should only get the codecs that you need, not what you don't since does can potentially slow down your system.

I have two peeves right, um, now.

    1. Idiots who use the nouns "parent" or "impact" as a verb. I'm sorry, you're not parenting. You're being a parent. And something doesn't impact something else. Something has an impact on something else.

    2. Censorship in any way, shape or form. The very concept of censorship makes my blood boil. Institutionalized censorship implies that people are too stupid, or lazy, or uneducated, or unable, or fragile to decide for themselves what they get to see/watch/read. It implies that people need to let someone else who's set themselves up as judge, jury and executioner decide what's safe, or "good enough", or "permissible". To me, institutionalized censorship is the ultimate insult of someone else's intelligence. Namely my own.

    1. Parent is both a verb and a noun. See parent - definition of parent by the Free Online Dictionary, Thesaurus and Encyclopedia. and Parent | Define Parent at Dictionary.com. The word's origin was a verb.

    2. I totally agree.

What about people saying "no offense, but....[insert insult]" right before they tell you something they KNOW will offend you. Whenever someone says no offense, rest assured they will do exactly that!
Some psychologist would say that being offended is your choice.

True, I often have said it's hard to offend me. You might impact me and make me mad though.

I believe the best policy is let comments run like water off a ducks back,
If you can't do that ?
    Frankie says relax,
Beside if someone wants to show their shoe size instead of their i.q. then this saying might apply,
Never argue with an ...... well I'll hope everyone can fill in that one
    Cheers.

On the positive side of things: improving/changing can be a good thing.
Some comments are simply the truth that we did not want to hear.
We might need to evaluate them & only discard the lies.
