Plane travel - would you vote for Non reclinable seats

    Hi there.

A load of people on these Forums I'm sure are I.T pros who probably do a fair bit of plane travel.

My biggest gripe is when a Passenger in a row sitting in front of you wants to recline his / her seat - often almost so much that the seatback is almost touching your mouth !!.

If there was one thing on a plane that for me would make travel a lot better AT a stroke - especially if you are in Cattle Class would be to have NO RECLINING SEATS.

Just wondered if I'm alone on this one or whether it's worth pushing this idea to some of the standard airline carriers as something they could do at zero cost and would make flying at least a teeny weeny bit more comfortable for a lot of people.

    Cheers

As long as the airlines keep playing pricing games, Homeland Security keeps instituting ineffective, draconian security measures, and the TSA keeps behaving like the Nazi Gestapo, I refuse to fly. I'll drive, take a train, or take a boat.

In cattle class & short haul (under 5 hours) then seats should not be reclinable, but premium and long haul there should be some movement but not that much it causes the person behind a problem.

These look like the right idea if they had a stowage net to put your bottle of water and bits in - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/travel/ar...itch-them.html

Yes a more confirmable stationary seat would be best for all,
Freaking upright position does not have to be so uncomfortable but yes people should be made aware of the issue with people behind them,
Set your drink on their head
