Have put this on here because I ma sick of all the hype "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" is getting. I watched it the other day and didn't even get to the end; which takes some doing for me as I like most films.

Form me it's got to be "Slumdog Millionaire", original, funny and poignant.

THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON
    FROST/NIXON
    MILK
    THE READER
    SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE

Slumdog gets my vote, although out of the nominations I have only watched Slumdog & Frost/Nixon.

I have yet to see Slumdog - but from what I have heard, seen, and heard some more it is supposed to be very good.

If I had my own write in it would have to be The Dark Knight - Heath made that movie as much as Jack made The Shining....

Ooh, Frost/Nixon, now that's a good film, forgot about that. SLumdog just edges it though for me. I was so pleasantly surprised with Frost/Nixon, I thought it would be droning on about politics for 2 hours but not the case. Good film.

I don't vote for any as I don't go to the cinema or subscribe to the movie channels on Sky so haven't a clue about any of them

I do have DVDs with films on but they're all old films from years ago, haven't got the time to sit through a film, don't take much notice of the films they make nowadays. I see clips when they advertise on telly but nothing really crabs me. :)

Thanks about my avatar, I've used that on a few forums and even though I'm not a pink kind of girl I like it

i've just seen Reader and Benjamin Button. the first was quite good; the second was one of the most dreadful, boring films i've seen in a very long time...
