I just heard about Gary and am so sorry to hear the news. I didn't ever meet him but felt like he was a close friend. You will be missed.

Ray and I are still such a mess we can hardly talk on the phone without cracking up. She sent me a banner he made for her website and only just found in her email.
Today i tried to lift myself out of the dirge and focus on what we have all done together here as a tightly knit family, the reason we are grieving such an important member's passing.
Gary was a pivotal member in keeping us at the top of this game. That's why we were so determined to see him properly rewarded and are feeling so deeply his cruel and untimely loss. We may never again experience something at once so exciting and deeply felt as having together built the top tech forums in history, with brains, humor and grace.
This is to remember that moment in time of great conquest and loss, and hopefully lift us a bit.
