Where did you username come from?

I've always wondered where a lot of usernames came from, some are pretty easy to figure out I think but others not so much. I don't know if anybody else would be interested but I'd certainly like to know where our members' usernames came from and how they were thought up.

Mine dates back to the mid to late 90s, an old mate of mine used to call me 'big buzzard' in a terrible Jamaican accent so it always came across as 'Cha biiiig boozad'. When I first started posting on forums years ago I couldn't think of a decent name to use so just chose Boozad, it's followed me around the internet over many different forums ever since and has often been mistaken for meaning I have an alcohol problem.

Mine is simple - it is just my initials. I use it on all forums sometimes appended with 37 (my birthyear) because WHS was already taken.

Mine was from the first part of my first ever email address.

My full name is Paul Pickering. My mates used to call me Picks and I was 21 years old at the time. :)

My father was a consummate salesman and listening to him answer his calls "Linnemeyerhere" has always stuck with me and something I've adopted in my life !

Not sure how John would of taken the band Suicidal Tendencies or Death Threat
I like the bands and album art so it seemed as good as anything

Butters from South Park. Now I kind of wish I'd picked a different username; Butters isn't usually what I go by on the internet.

Mine originated back in the "Qlink" days (which is now AOL). I had a TTC Corp "Fireberd" T1 link tester/Bit Error Tester (Device) at work. When I first signed up for Qlink and entered a user name my Daughter suggested "firebird" but it was already in use so I went with the "fireberd". I've used it ever since.

As a side note, when I first got on Qlink it was with a Commodore VIC 20......
