What is your favorite version of Windows?

For the longest time, I said XP was my favorite, but now I think it's pretty dated. Nowadays I'd say Windows 7 is easily my favorite (though there are still some XP features I miss in Windows 7). I'm currently using Windows 8.1 (but I still do use 7) and I can honestly say that I really don't like it a whole lot.

So what do you guys think?

Lol, I kind of figured. I'm just kind of wondering if there's anyone on here who would say otherwise.

    Like this.

I think I should re-phrase the title of this thread; What are you favorite versions of Windows?

Win 7 is my favorite. The only features I miss from XP are the camera download wizard and picture viewer. The ones in Win 7 suck so I don't use them. I download pictures by manually copying them from a camera card to a folder on my computer; I can always sequentially rename the files later using Irfanview. For that matter, I can use Irfanview to do the download and renaming together but it's too easy to make a mistake and lose everything. I view pictures using M$ Office 2010's picture viewer. It's not as good as XPs was but it beats the big fat holy hairy heck out of Win 7's.

Oh I know exactly what you mean. I think it's so dumb how Windows 7's picture viewer doesn't play animated GIF files, but at least it has higher quality zooming. And yeah, I liked the picture import wizard better in XP too.

I also miss how XP's explorer was so customizable (as many of my other posts might make obvious).

    And proud of it!

All seriousness aside, I have no problem with change but only if it actually benefits me. From what I've seen of Win 8.0 and 8.1 (and yes, I tried them; I even had a tutor for 8.1 for a week), it doesn't even come close to benefitting me.

    Best versions: Windows 7 & Windows 2000

I download and installed 8.1.1 Enterprise and still don't like it! But that is just me...
