Not really a film but the first season of "Best call Saul" - seems to be a form of prelude to Breaking Bad. Excellent can't wait to get the second season.
Just finished the second season of "Better Call Saul". Well worth a watch. It's actually a spin off from Breaking Bad. Saul was the likeable shonky lawyer who first appeared in Breaking Bad.

Yes am going to get that shortly as I am finding the TV series stuff better value for money than singular films though I do like them.
One I watched recently while travelling with British Airways was "Eye in the sky" with Helen Mirren in it really well done stuff.

I'd agree that many of the top end TV series on DVD/Bluray outdo many of the bland movies that seem to pop out now. The problem is you can't resist watching the next episode ....

I also thought "Eye in the Sky" was well done. It shows how clinically removed modern warfare can be.

West World jury still out :)
Not a movie but is based on one
    Westworld (TV Series 2016– ) - IMDb
Which I might like a tad better besides the nice boobies in the new one
    Westworld (1973) - IMDb

I saw the first episode a few days ago.
The producers seem to be approaching the story from a different perspective (in the new series).

They also seem to have out "Crichtoned", Crichton (e.g. the new software "upgrades").

"I am Wrath" - John Tavolta perhaps not the very best movie he has made a little tongue in cheek at times.

The final episode of Star Trek : TNG , All Good Things... is as good as any of the Trek movies if not better than most imho.
I think the Star Trek: TNG episode "The Inner Light" is one of the finest hours of television ever put to video tape, but I agree, "All Good Things" is a true knockout, and far superior to most of the movies.
Nice to find another "Trekkie" if I may be so bold! Totally agree about "The Inner Light" too, an exceptionally outstanding episode in a generally outstanding series. Mr. Stewart has an innate ability for contemplative roles about the human position in the Cosmos. Anyone who can watch him holding that flute at the end without their eyes misting (at least) is missing something very dear.
I don't guess I have seen TNG since it was in original run in the 90's, but I agree, it was a well done show. I like the character that Whoopie Goldberg played on her recurring role. I believe she was a bartender with a lot of fore sight into things. = TNG wasn't a sequel to the original Star Trek, it was completely different except it was set in space. Having Data in it made for a nice touch.

"The Yards" with a very young Mark Wahlberg when I played it and at $4 I thought another B movies but it was some of the best acting I have seen him do - some of his films to me are a bit B rated
