I added that in my sig , because I saw someone else with it . I did not know that some were so anal about the rep . I guess everyone to themselves . Brink should I remove it from my sig ?
It's on the gray line by asking for rep.

That's nothing. Stay on this site for a few minutes and you will start getting pestered with nag popups wanting you to like them on this or that. They are so needy.

Now that you bring up Pop-ups, I have a question. In the link posted on Forum Rules, it stated something about advertising and was dependent on keeping the site going. I don't recall ever seeing any on here. Do we have advertising on the site?

Yes, but registered members do not see advertising. If you visit as a guest, you will see advertisements.

The only advertisement I have ever seen for signed in members is in the tutorial section.

Wouldn't hurt to tick on them every now and again.

If you are logged in to SF, then you will not see any ads anywhere. Only if you view the site while not logged in will you see ads. :)
