Again I come to the forum to find sad news, the loss of yet another friend. I had just been asking after him, as I had with Randy. Perhaps I should stop doing that

Ted was a great friend, and an outstanding individual. He was yet another of the people that was very active when I first joined. I have already been missing him, but knowing I shall never see his foot tapping avatar again...

Beau, thank you for the message, my sincere condolences. I take solace in knowing that Ted was aware how much we liked him. My best to you and your family.

RIP Ted, we shall always think of you fondly. Your memory will live on in your tutorials, and posts here.

I just flew in from Europe and had a PM from Shawn waiting about another loss of a core member of 7F.

During beta and beyond, when many of the fixes and workarounds were tried and developed into Best Practices, Ted was right in the middle of it, almost pivotal. SIW2 was climbing around inside the OS finding many of these fixes while the rest of us poked and prodded, trading information constantly in posts and messages. Ted wrote many of these up into tutorials. Hardly a day goes by that I don't link one of these.

It was an exciting time, almost magical. Things could get tense, but we knew we were onto something historic, what might be one of the biggest achievements in tech history. Ted had a huge role in making it these forums that led the way from the beginning.

When I first came here, Ted was very active and we traded thoughts and ideas fairly regularly. I learned quite a lot from Ted and really appreciated our discussions. It's a sad day for the forums and for his many friends here. Ted will be missed by many of us.

My condolences go out to his family and friends. May he rest in peace, but he will live on here in those of us he taught so much and in his many and helpful tutorials that will teach others. Godspeed, my friend.

Thank you all for the loving, kind words for my brother. I am enjoying reading how much of an integral part of this community Ted was. I love the idea that he will continue to be here playing a role and being "active" in helping others. I cannot imagine life without him, but through the strength of Jesus we all will get through this heartbreaking time.

We are losing too many people here (actually, just one would be too many, let alone three). Rest in peace, Ted. Condolences to his family.
Amen to that. I would like to offer my condolences as well.
