    Asus GTX 780 Bound!

So im finally getting rid of these horrible AMD GPU drivers and getting myself an Asus GTX 780! currently my 280x has a ton of driver issues even being on the latest beta, and even the artifacting that the asus cards have. just getting so annoying. so im selling mine, getting the 780, then overclocking it to the max oh stock volts! cant wait! ive been reading that the 780 is a monster of a beast card and outperforms a titan when overclocked. it runs SOOO much quieter and cooler than my 280x too! now i can start supersampling my games . being on 1080p, i think this card will last a long time without having to upgrade . im so excited! so far i got $50 saved out of the $480 needed, lmfao!

You may want to wait a few weeks. I hear the next generation of Nvidia is fixing to be released, rumor has it they will be cheaper than the 780 and have somewhere close to 30% more performance. That's rumor though, Nvidia isn't saying anything.

Good thinking Steve. Wait a month and BINGO. The only problem with Computer Video cards is the moment you commit out comes another card or drivers for the one you had fixing the issues. It never ends.

Quite true. I've been there, done that. In the FWIW Dept., I read an article quoting a Chinese web site that had an engineering sample of the new card and it showed photos of it and some benchmark scores that showed it being 30% faster than a 780. Now, I don't always believe everything I see on the internet, but if it's true and the prices are starting cheap, I couldn't get much for my 780. The article did say that the Chinese web site has been fairly accurate in what they put out. But, I'll just wait and see what happens. Besides, I expect it to be a while before what I would want comes out.
