I didn't run into anything that resembled a Mini Kanger at all since that just came out. The other is an "Atlantis Style" Mini clearomizer tank which would fall under clone since Aspire hasn't made anything but the 2ml Atlantis for sub ohming so far.
Now for "The KRAIGEN Atlantis 8ml tank" I got the pair in and assembled. Due to how it is constructed not just the glass but also seeing a stainless collar at the bottom as well as the top where you swap over the drip tip off the original that includes two holes with a phillips type screw in each. With a good size needle bottle or filling syringe you simply pop one of those out not needing to remove the second as a vent to fill and let her rip!
The original Atlantis is center with The Kraigen to the right and the hollowed Stainless mesh replacement to the left. Both Kraigens and the two Stainless replacements still 2ml for those were put on and no leaks! One is sitting on top the BEC Pro filled from a 10ml needle bottle with a Spearmint Menthol flavor Artic Ice with the other 8ml sees a Dark Roast Coffee flavor I found while looking around for a black unlightened, unsweetened coffee flavor with some taste to it.
The clone Mini tank was found when browsing 3FVape when seeing what they had for tanks since just about all of the tanks are made there to begin with! I kind of wish I had seen the tank while placing the order for the mod since I could grabbed one of each since there are two the other being light black +silver. Atlantis Style 510 Clearomizer - Light Black + Silver, Glass + Stainless Steel, 5.0ml, 0.5 ohm - 3FVape
I'm not that worried however since I was pondering on both the Scion whether to bother with any of those or picking up another pair of Atlantis tanks once the other two mods are in. The Scion might see replacement coils at first and then later due to the limited release not see any at all. Most likely I will probably for the 7ml extender over The Kraigen while those fit like gems on the two tanks.
I suspect the 5ml clone uses Atlantis coils as well since there are no replacements listed for even the Alantis while they carry a lot of Kanger just not for the Sub Ohm tank quite yet, protank and others. They do carry Innokin coils as well as BVC and BDC Aspire coils just none listed for the Atlantis style generic tank and where the caution about not finding any is generally why I tend to skip past any clones to start with. The 5ml looks nice and the tank would probably work like a champ but that's still a kind of 50/50 bet.

You don't think I already know that? I have four of them sitting here. And one of the Kraigen replacements managed to leak after being filled the first time. That made the day! So far not a drop out of the other or with a 50% the second time around.
I went to grab a vape from the one it was on and saw an almost empty tank sitting on it! Was able to save about 2ml off the bottom and there was a bit more in the battery hole the ZNA 50 was sitting over telling me it leaked at the base of the tank not from the coil being loose. I then flipped the glass portion 180 an then stuck that back in once it was cleaned up.
At both end on those the glass is pressed into the washer type seal and apparently the bottom didn't act the way it should have. But it looks like that was a fluke compared to the Kanger Aerotank Minis and Mega tank where all three leak if left sitting for too long! It reminds me only too much of the old DCT leakers I ended up tossing! But I can't tighten it any more then it is now and that solved the leak.
Firstly unlucky on the leakage Hawk. Not good!
Then on to what I highlighted in red.
You may or may not have known it, but what you typed was wrong and for the purposes of any people reading this thread for info I thought it was worth pointing out.
To clarify, you said the clone was a mini. It is NOT. It is bigger than the original. You then said that Aspire hasn't made anything but the 5ml Atlantis for sub ohming so far. That is wrong. The Aspire Atlantis is 2ml not 5.
Edited for typo sorry.
As far as what you marked in red that was in response to your comment before that. I put the 5ml Altantis when I was supposed to have said the 5ml Nautilus instead. "The other is an "Atlantis Style" tank that has a larger capacity but slightly smaller in size(width, height) clearomizer type tank which would falls under clone since Aspire hasn't made anything like the 2ml Nautilus Mini for sub ohming so far."
That's the way it should have been worded. But I was making the comparison of the 5ml clone to the size of both the 7ml extension you had pointed to as well as The Kraigen Atlantis 8ml replacement tank mentioned earlier.
"You don't think I already know that? I have four of them sitting here." was the response to the comment you made. I also knew I would be going back once to edit the post there when the other vendor's site was found to be down for maintenance when going to mention the two flavors by two different vendors I was now trying out in the Kraigens at the higher wattage then those two had ever seen before. The problem explaining why one leaked was the need to see the glass portion pressed in tighter at the bottom since that has to squeeze in on the washer inside the bottom collar on the Kraigen to form the seal. The original Atlantis by Aspire is a 2ml capacity tank.
The Artic Ice and Avalanche flavors not mentioned were actually the very first two menthol flavors Disk4mat started out with when his eliquids business was first started up in March 2013. We had been chatting on one of the social networks back in the Fall of '12 while he was quitting a 4 pack a day habit and I was just hearing about ecigs from him.
Now as for Mini tanks Kanger has a number of them but for the Protank, Aerotank, Unitank but nothing for sub ohming. The sub ohm tanks require a heavier type of coil in order to handle the higher temps as well as the watts as you see with the Atlantis there. An RDA can be a bit smaller in size there however since you are building your own coils not buying something with them already premade ahead of time.
Have you ordered from 3fvape before Night Hawk? I was wondering how long there shipping takes in case I decide to try the atlantis style.
That was a first time there! They seem to move faster then Fasttech however! I ended up ordering there since it wasn't even turning up a focalecig at first until you posted the link there for it.
While most places are showing just under $70 for the 150w version you should see what GearBest wants for the 50w version of the same mod there! Try $82.41 onsale?! LUXYOUN UNIK Variable Wattage 7 - 50W E-Cigarette Box Mod-82.41 and Free Shipping| GearBest.com
All four models suddenly appeared at Fasttech as well. With the orders there one took almost a month while the Smok BEC Pro was ordered separately came in 11 days. The Vamo Fire and four eGo batteries came registered mail from FT in 16 days. It was just about three weeks when the DovPo E-LVT came in on the , and for an Amazon of all places order of an 8 pack of 18350s I later find those were being shipped in from China! try 11/28 until 12/29!
I suspect things will ship faster now however since all the Holiday Blues are over and things will be getting back to the norm! But you still have to expect close to two weeks when ordering overseas allowing time for things to change hands from China Post or Singapore to USPS.
Okay, thanks. I'm one that doesn't like long waits. I was impressed with FC, but that was ships from the US. I just filled my tank with some Rasta Juice. It's been steeping almost 2 months I think, and man it's good
Two months? The vendor I order from is generally presteeped and ready to vape for the most part. The ejuice only gets darker over time. I would say "Well Steeped" for several here now that I have to play catch up on! "stop in for a free bottle or two! I have three boxes full of well steeped..."!
Gee now where would I get the idea there was any Aspire Atlantis replacement tank 5ml tank from?
