Windows 7: Any Vapers?

Yes, thats how the nic would work.
5ml of 20mg and 5ml of 10mg would give you a final product of 10ml @ 15mg.

Mixing already made juices is how I got started. Then moved into DIY as you have a lot more options.
And like Nighthawk said, haste makes waste is very true. Always start slow and small.

Its also weird how certain flavors do not play well together and some do very well.
Sometimes, swapping your base helps get what your looking for.

What I mean is, say you want chocolate strawberries, and are mixing a simple chocolate and strawberry.
Say you use 75% Strawberry and 25% chocolate. But all you taste is strawberry,.
Sometimes swapping it to 75% chocolate and 25% strawberry may give you the result your looking for. And the Strawberry in this case could still be the Dominant flavor.

May be a bad example but, sometimes the dominant flavor is actually the weakest percentage wise. Sometimes not. just depends on what your using and what your looking for.

I find a dripper to be the best thing for testing. In my case Ill put 19 drops of pure PG in a beaker, and 1 drop of flavor. Mix it and drip it on the dripper. The will give an idea of what 5% tastes like. Then I'll try 10 and 15% or untill I find where it tastes best to me.

In the case of mixing flavors already made, the same idea applies. Do something like 9 drops of flavor A to 1 drop flavor B (90%/ 10%) or 5 drops each for 50/50/
Try it on a dripper and see what you got. Adjust from there.

This way may not be 100% accurate as it'll change once the entire mix is made, but its pretty close. And, keeps you from wasting alot of juice on a bad mix.

If you don't have a dripper, all you need a a little single coil cheap one. You can get them for about $10, and if you will be mixing your own flavors, from scratch or pre-made flavors, it'll be worth getting. Those cheap little drippers may not taste as good as your regular tank or whatever, but they will give you a very good idea where that juice stands your mixing.

I am not ready to make my own juice, so was just curious about mixing a few. I have one juice of 18mg and another of 11mg. If I mix them 50/50 in a tank, does it make it 14.5?

Noob question, what is the shelf life of the ejuice?

I thought about joining the ecig forum, but feel more comfortable asking here. So another question... I noticed I am vaping a whole lot more. That is one reason I am trying to cut the nicotine level down. I'm not feeling ill or anything that shows I'm getting to much nicotine, but am curious.

I started and used about 1.5ml a day. Now I am vaping about 3ml a day.
A lot of the juice I have ordered has expiry dates on. Generally it seems to be around 2 years.

Regarding the amount you vape now, you may just like vaping more but you will also find that using a higher voltage will use more juice. I imagine with your first kit you were vaping at around 3.7V and now I am sure you are using a lot higher voltage.
I think the average person uses 3-4ml a day, I certainly do.

The higher voltage does burn through the juice faster. And I could be wrong but it seems the more a blend leans towards the VG side the faster it goes too.
But I could just be imagining that and Im just vaping it more often

Okay, thanks guys. I vape at 4.3. My juice has a made on date, but doesn't mention use by so was curious. I have learned a lot here, but will do a lot more homework before going in to making my own juice.

If you want more vapor go with more VG! If you want more to taste then you go with the average 70/30 or 80/20 while some go totally 100 with either depending preferences. Some actually stick with 100% VG since they want to see clouds while the typical vaper runs 50/50 as a start point for some or what they would recommend while most will lean to the 70/30 ratio to get the most out of the flavors they pick.

Turning things up as far as wattage as well as voltage will take you through a full tank a bit faster. That's common fact there. But sometimes you need to kick in order to reach the favorite spot where a flavor seems best for your preferences while others may either run warmer or be running with non variables at 3.7 or with a variable turn it down instead since those start off at 3.2v Vamos at 3.3v on average.

What's interesting is taking a tank off of the Vamo V5 to put on the new V6 and finding it runs better there at 8 watts while the V5, plus the Innokin MVP, VTR, and v3.0s run at 7w to get the same results with the exact same tank and flavor. The one difference is the V6 only sees wattage adjustment while with the others you can keep the voltage right 3.7v or nudge it just a little to 3.8v or 3.9v.You still use up the flavor faster but keep the tank a little cooler by cranking watts not volts where you can risk the coil if either is up too high.

Pretty low strength considering you quit so recently Doug. How do you like it? Looks very cheap anyway.
I did the same thing Doug, it's sitting in my drawer right now.

Same flavor too, it just wasn't doing it for me at the lower nic, I'll just mix it with something else.

I've got a few flavors I need to get rid of that way.

@Paul, what's the SF 5ml club? Are you already benchmarking your kits?

I have mixed it with the bourbon flavor and it's good. 11mg was to much of a drop, but 14mg is good. I will keep mixing like that for a few more weeks then try 11mg again.

I am in the 2.5ml club myself, lol

I like that Bourbon flavor too, I'll probably use it as a mixer with that.

This is where I got mine,

Kentucky Bourbon e-Liquid

I just noticed they removed the ratio choices, so I may have to find a different place.

Oh, I see what the 2.5ml club is now, I haven't measured myself but I am going through about one of these a day,

INFERNO BC TubeTank System

Which is a 2.5ml tank.

That inferno looks good Derek. I like that site you used for the Bourbon, just found this

V-6 Variable Voltage Kit

I'm doing a lot of looking around. I'm going to get a better kit, just can't decide on which on yet

Yeah, I like the inferno, it's doing the job for me. I may have went with something different the more I learn about the different kits.

I may be wishful in my thinking but I'm hoping to just ease out of the vaping at some point so I am trying to tell myself to quit looking for a new kit, I still look around though.

That is a nice looking kit, I see those tanks being offered on a lot of kits, they have the long wicks in them, not sure if that's good or bad.
