    Thanks,
If WishMaster and I play are cards right we should both be done with vaping by then
I believe 6 months will do it at the longest the end of the year max :)

Ahhh geee... I've been vaping now for 2 1/2 full years!

Actually you may still find yourself with a few urges even after a year's time has passed. But they will also be much further removed then you would have thought. And the first six months isn't always the hardest stretch. I once quit cold turkey for 8 solid months but still fell backwards!

The best part however is six months being smoke free shows you can still to a goal and you are actually making the effort compared to others who simply they would like to but.. simply end up fooling themselves only.

The lesson of the day is to say you've both done a great job so far but don't pat yourselves on the back too much. If you were only lighting for a couple of years this would be the major step. But for those who smoked many a year a few months can be a temp gap only and vaping for a bit longer will prove its own worth over time when you find you are even far less likely to ever fall backwards.

I don't have any plans for quitting vaping entirely here but don't have any interest in chain vaping either. Gradually it come down to a few secondary flavors only along with a primary.

    HUMBUG! GGrrrrrrrr... ruf ruf...

Weak you say? I just got down mentioning that I went totally smoke free for 8 months straight on a moment's notice in fact(someone I was seeing back then wanted... hhmm) simply when finishing off the pack that was open at the time without any vaping in those days.

If you quit you quit plain and simple by doing just that. no patches, no gums, no nico candy, no inhalers, and no fuss about it! That is until the peer pressure(time frame early 80s and club hopping) entices you back a bit as well as everyone you know still lighting up. The difference now however is despite some friends who are still lighting up despite the intro to vaping. But once I quit this time I knew it would be permanent. And that I know from having some experience in quitting not rambling.

How have you been feeling now that you reached the six month mark? You should noticing a change.

Here's some other food for thought about vaping many still are not aware of. This was something I was looking into at first being benefits or concerns for PG or VG. Here's the opening on one article.

1942 Study Uncovers Incredible Health Benefits of Inhaled Propylene Glycol

As the world argues about the safety of electronic cigarettes, it’s clear that we need to place a greater emphasis on scientific research. Interestingly, there have been studies done prior to the birth of ecigs that give us a clue as to how vaping impacts the human body. A perfect example of this is a study conducted by Dr. Oswald Hope Robertson of the University of Chicago’s Billings Hospital in 1942. Dr. Robertson studied how the inhalation of propylene glycol impacted laboratory mice.
