    Itunes messing up home wifi

Most likely another subject, but will throw this here anyway. Why would iTunes be affecting my home wifi? Signal is interminent at best. When I uninstall iTunes everthing is ok. Not like I really need it on my W7 pc, but if I wanted to do a backup of phone to the PC, it'd be required. Nothing can be easy!

well, it had happened the other day when I was messing around with itunes and my phone, and it dinked up my wifi. That day, and for maybe a previous 2 yrs, iTunes was installed. Dunno. Hate like hell troubleshooting this, as I'm not really needing it at the moment. I suppose when i need it again, I'll look into it. OMG

iOS 8 Hit By WiFi And Battery Life Complaints - Forbes
    From that article,

That said these aren’t the first problems we’ve seen with iOS 8. Notably iPhone 4S owners have complained about greatly reduced performance and on a scale which suggests Apple will need to release a software patch to address it in the near future.
    Which refers to this article,

Upgrading iPhone 4s to iOS 8: Performance Issues and Everything You Need to Know
This last article is just ridiculous IMO. Says "two times slower or more" then cites "was 1.25sec now 2.16sec" for the worst of the apps tested, and the others are no more than 1/2sec slower as if anyone who didn't put a stopwatch on it would notice this. Proving once again "don't believe everything you read" or at least "pay attention"!!!

My 4S took the 8.0 upgrade w/o issue and runs fine. There is one new app that isn't working right but I can't attribute that necessarily to Apple.

One thing that Apple needs to change about its Major Upgrade policy is to stop pushing it to everyone at Rev 0. We all know their iOS updates are never perfect the first time out--after telling users about it Apple should back-off and not pester people to upgrade like they do now.

At the expense of raising ire from all the Apple fans here, Anything to do with Apple wants to take over your computer. I have dealt with it myself and ended up having to do clean installs to get rid of iTunes twice, and have dealt with it in the BSOD threads. Some people run it and have no problems with it, others have fits with Apple programs. I suspect those who have no problems are the ones that don't mind letting it run all of it's functions at startup. If you take it out of startup and set it to manual, you are going to have problems, especially with all their updates. Personally, I like iTunes and would like to use it, but not at the expense of all their add on's and all their startup programs, and all the problems it causes.

I've never had any real problems with iTunes personally,
I did remove all of it's junk from startup,
But if/ when there's an update I had to remember to reactive the junk before doing the update

But yes I finally did get rid of iTunes... because it was all just pestware for something I could just as easily use wmp for the majority of it

I do have a create ringtone app but don't make many anymore so it's not a biggie to loose that one.

No worries not too many people at 7f even use iphones

Sure the shoes on the foot now :)
Nothing that I know of is wrong with droids I just don't have one because a phone is a phone primarily and the iphone 4 was cheaper and so I got it and it works for what I use it for primarily a phone and not a first mobile and cloud thing :)

Besides a few map searches I've never really used it to surf the web not interested in mobile surfing I have a lappy for that :)

Oops I lied I do check surf reports
